Our First Entry!

This is the first journal entry for our blog. My hope is that this journal will help everyone keep up on the kids and help me keep a journal for my children of their activities. It is increasingly hard to scrapbook and remember all those little things the kids do so my wish is that this will be a way for me to do so as well as keep all our family in the loop.

Windy somewhat cold day in Texas. Hard to believe how warm it has been this winter here. I would never expect to be wearing shorts in the middle of winter. The boys are upstairs having quiet time (hopefully) and Sadie is resting in her swing. Simon, Jack, and Tom went out for a drive in the Mini. Only the first of what I am sure will be a weekend ritual for the boys. Sadie and I went for a run after I finished work for the weekend. I have 10-15 pounds of baby weight still to lose and I think it will be tougher than last time. She is worth all of it though. She has her first cold and is a little cranky but is smiling and cooing quite a bit now. We were unable to go to church since Simon has strep and is still contagious. Of course you would never know it with all the energy he has today. I signed him up for t-ball this spring last night. I am sure he will love it.
